Stratford upon Avon

Hello. Despite a weekend full of rain, we had a great time in Stratford upon Avon. We arrived Sat morning around 11 and walked around the town for a couple hours, had lunch and then went to Warwick Castle. It is an amazing castle and we got to see a jousting match. Pretty cool! The part of the castle that was once lived it was decorated as it would have been in those times. There were even wax statues of Henry VIII and his 6 wives, as well as the Queen. We went to Taming the Schrew on Saturday night which was also really cool. Although, I have to admit, Shakesphere is pretty hard to follow sometimes! Sunday we went to Anne Hathaway's cottage (Shakesphere's wife), the house Shakesphere was born in, the house he and Anne lived in, and his daughters house. They were all really cute, thatch roof homes. The town was really quaint....lots of tea shops serving traditional scones, jam and cream, several little antique shops and of course, lots of pubs. Here are a few pictures!

I've been offsite at a training course the last couple of days and will be heading back to work tomorrow. It will be a nice short week!

So, the Office had temporarily unblocked your blog (super fun for me as it is Friday and I do not feel like working, super bad for all the MN taxpayers) and I noticed you didn't post a picture of the gift you got me while in Stratford. What was it again? Something about "killing all the lawyers?!" :)
